Have been tramping all over Paris 2 and a half days of walking , boat cruise ,climbing hundreds of steps looking in art galleries , walking in gardens , riding on metros , eating drinking and rubbing sore feet

What a day driving wise , all roads and the gps wants to take you through Paris on paid roads so to avoid all this it was a long slow drive with plenty of taking the wrong road , the scenery was stunning of the French countryside with the red poppies dancing in the breeze , on the more sober note most or countryside had seen the bloody battles of the first world war in fact we came across Oise ainse the American war cemetery where 6,000 young men lost their lives...

Bit of a nuisance this morning had to change hotels , before we did this we left early to get to Claude Monet gardens we were the second ones there so were able to park opposite and as soon as the doors were open we were in but un be known to us there is a separate entrance for the coaches so the gardens were already had plenty of visitors . Still raining in France and cold found a nice hotel in villeneuve Newley renovated for 66 euros for the night .managed to brave the weather to look around the medieval town on the lot river
