Our next stop was at Noosa. We were only there for 2 nights but it seems like a really great place. Popular with surfers and you are able to swim in the sea which we havent been able to do since Cairns because of jellyfish. On our full day there we went to Australia Zoo (the Steve Irwin one) which was really fun its a pretty good zoo. It was such a hot day so we had really good weather. Highlights include feeding elephants, watching them feed crocodiles at the 'crocoseum' and stroking koalas. We managed to do a proper wash as well as some proper cooking at Noosa aswell which was successful haha. Mainly we just chilled out trying to recover from Fraser. On our last day we were going to do a walk round Noosa head which is apparently beautiful but it rained so we just went up to a lookout which had some good views. got pretty wet though. Weather since then has been great though so we were just unlucky. Cant believe we only have 2 weeks left in Aus! but looking forward to everything else too. byee

John Keep the blog up Holly - it's really interesting and, at least in part, I can link some of your photos to the narrative. Wish I was there :-) Dad
Diana Godwin-Austen Fab photos! Brings back so many wonderful memories - especially Airlie Beach. I worked on Hayman Island for 2 months (back in the Victorian times!). We're missing you hugely. Ottilie won't even let me play 'I'm Yours' as she last heard it when you were here. Go well and keep up the blogging! With masses of love
