well here we are in sunny australia, been here only 2 weeks done so much already. I am already bad at keeping in contact with people and as you can see havent written here before. at the moment we are in airlie beach and tomorrow we go on a 2 night 3 day boat trip round the whitsundays which should be realyl fun. you get to snorkel and scuba if you want to and see all the islands and beaches and stuff. at the moment its pretty cloudy here but really hot, hopefully we get good weather while we are out there.
so far after perth we met emily in cairns, spent her birthday snorkelling on the great barrier reef which was amazing, we hired an underwater camera so we have some good pictures which I will upload at some point. it was a really good day apart from i burnt half my forehead above the snorkel mask and so that was attractive. its pretty much gone now though. we also had to wear stinger suits because its jellyfish season which had hoods and mittens, so we looked pretty weird but it was really fun.
After Cairns we went to mission beach which is beautiful, its the number one place to so a skydive in Australia but none of us did one. Emily quite wants to do one though and money permitting may do one in byron bay. 3 girls that were at our hostel did one and they showed us their dvds it looks terrifying but everyone we've spoken to says its the highlight of their east coast.
we went on to townsville after mission beach and met rachael wilson who is trying to find a job there so it was really nice to see her.
ok this is just a rambling entry to try to get you up to speed with what we are doing, i will try to write more often and upload photos but i cant promise anything. the photo uploader doesnt work most of the time so its annoying but hopefully one of these days i can get some up.
I will write again soon, probably after the whitsundays. miss you all, byeee xx
