HOLLY AND JOHNS ADVENTURE
Hello folks!! We definatley need to hear from you more! Theres not enough messages being left in our opinion!!!
Well we've been and seen koh Samui, and it was fantasic! We met up with our new found fiends in Lamai, and stayed at Whites sands resort, and it lived up to its name the beach was beautiful. The room we got was just as amazing we even had a TV and air con! (and Tom and Terrance the resident spiders!)
On our first night we headed into town to have a few drinks and watched some real Thai boxing (both men and women!), just like a typical saturday night in Liverpool!!
The next day wass spent chilling by the beach and pool. However that night we went to Chaweg to get some food and see a caberet show, but not any ordinary one, a ladyboy show!! John still hasn't recovered!
The next day we hired a jeep, don't worry it wasn't us driving, and went to explore the island. As you can see by the photos we saw quite alot. We went to see the waterfall by own hotel and climbed up to the top, we nearly collapsed doing this by the whern. Not the best tying to be doing in this heat! Its turning too much into an adventure holiday for our liking!!
We then went elephant treking by the Na Mang Falls, John found that they were quite hard to drive, hence him not driving th jeep! After that near death experience Holly went for a swim in the falls, bbecause john was too scared the big wimp!! The falls were amazing, about 120 feet!!
We then went to the other side of the island to see Big Budda, and we've got to say that hes rather large! We were told if you got a 10 baht cion and rang every bell around the Budda it would bring you good luck. Holly lost hers within an hour, so shes doomed now for the rest of the holiday!!!
That night we headed out to a foam party, John enjoyed this thoughly as it was his first time and had a good wash at the same time!!! Holly, probaly because she lost her cion, slipped on some concrete steps and hurt her shin. It goes to say never lose a coin blessed by a Big Budda!!!
We also went to Ang Thong while we were there. This is the place where the movie 'The Beach' was filmed, and it was amazing. We saw a hidden lagoon, however getting to it was a bit of a mission! wWe had to squeese throgh tiny holes and climb big rocks, indiana jones styley! It was worth it though!
At the mo we are in the wild, wild west. We've moved over the island to the province of Krabi, in Ao Nang. Its really nice, however there was a huge storm last night and its been very windy today. We went to the beach and the waves were enormous! John was brave like David Hasslehoff!
So......we'll keep you updated and you better had to!
Lots of love, hugs and kisses,
Holly and John
