I arrived back from surf camp on Friday night, Amie and I had thought ahead so we had booked into the hostel where the bus dropped us off, which was very handy! We dumped our bags is the room and headed out to Scubar (a backpackers bar below our hostel) where surf camp were providing free drink and free pizza :) I forgot my phone so I went back to the room and bumped into a girl who was staying in our room, she was called Holly too, she seemed ok at first then one of the first things she told me was that she'd been out last night and came in and had been sick on her pillow!! Bah! She then said she hadn't told anyone else in the room an that she was secretly trying to clean up! Great roommate!! Nahht! Anyway went down to Scubar and it was pretty quiet, so just had my free stuff then went back to the hostel, I had washing to do after camp anyway so was a good chance to get it done. Me and Amie were chatting about what we were going to do tomorrow because the hostel we were in was full for tomorrow (saturday) and we had no where to stay. We decided to go up to the blue mountains and stay in the YHA hostel up there, it was only $7 on the train to get there and the hostel there would be cheaper too because it's outside the city. A few of the others came too but just for the day. Josh, one of the lads from the flight, had no where to stay either so he stayed with me and Amie. We got there about half 1 so by the time we had all ate and checked in it was 3 o'clock. It was too late to get a bus to take us round so we had to walk down to the 3 sisters which took about half an hour, it was really hot too so made it harder! When we got there we were all knackered do we just took a few pictures and then sat in the sun for a bit. I wanted to go to the waterfalls but when we asked they said there had been a brushfire recently so the path was closed, if we wanted to see it we had to go the long way round which was another 30minute walk. We sat around for a few more minutes then started walking. When we eventually got there and it was really nice! So calm and chilled out compared to everything we'd done for the the last 2 and a half weeks, it was about half 5 by then and the others needed to get the train home do we started heading back. Me, Amie and Josh wanted to save money so we just went to the supermarket for tea and I just got some noodles and some chocolate lol! I really liked the hostel up there, it was more like a country lodge, it had terraces to sit outside, tables to eat outside, it had 2 huge tv rooms with comfy sofas, it was nice and chilled. We had our food then just sat and watched tv, Nutty professor was on so watched that. Was quite nice to just watch telly and not do anything lol! Amie and i were chatting and saying how we wanted to go back to Surf camp! The food was so good and the place was lush! We both emailed our CVs off just on the off chance that there were any jobs going, we had nothing to loose. Then we came back to the city the next day and I booked into a hostel next door to Scubar, we managed to get a twin room for $30! Bargain! It was Amie's last day in Sydney and she wanted to go to the wildlife centre and we get discount with our YHA membership so we walked up to darling harbour to go there! It was the first time we'd seen koalas and kangaroos in Oz! Woop! The kangaroos hardly moved though, the only time they did was to sit back on their tales and play with their balls!! Lol which was funny to be fair! Ha!!

Anyway at surf camp I had met a girl called Chloe who was travelling up the coast straight away and had asked me to go with her, I wasn't sure so I told her I'd go to the travel agent when I was back in Sydney to look at prices. So after the Zoo I went to the travel agents. It all looked really good and the prices were all off peak because it's not quite summer yet, bonus! The trips were to do fraser island and the whitsunday islands plus i got a free trip to do a gagagu bushcamp trip whatever that is! Lol! Camping i think! Google them!! They look amazing!! I got back in touch with Chloe and said I was going to book! She said she'd had already booked her dates and it all started in like 3 days!! So I had hardly anytime to sort things out! I booked a flight to Brisbane then sorted the grey hound bus to noosa where the first trip was, the gagagu bushcamp! So after I spoke to Chloe I went back to the travel agent to book it! All sorted I was leaving in 2days which was perfect because I had no more accommodation in Sydney after that lol!

Then the next day I got an email from Guy from Surf Camp saying he needed someone to start this weekend!! I was gutted I had just booked all my dates for travelling!! I emailed him back saying I had just booked travel and could I start after, I got no reply so assumed that he needed someone ASAP. I had a think about it and considered moving my travel arrangements and going to camp!! I really didn't know what to do!! I would loose $100 if I cancelled my trip but I'd save so much between now and Christmas by working and living camp! I called Guy and asked a little bit more about the job and he said it would be a trail for the weekend/week and then possibly up to 2 months work with Christmas and NY off! Which is perfect for me! So I decided to go!! I lost my $100 and booked into my hostel til Friday! I get picked up at 6pm Friday to go back down to camp! I feel really good about it too, think i was worried about spending all my money straight away when i was going to go up the coast! Lol! So thats my plan sorted!! Once that was all done I got a text from Zoe to say that her and her boyf Chris had found a flat and do I want to go round for drinks, so that wasTuesday night sorted!
So jumped on the bus across Sydney to see her flat. I grabbed a box on Goon on my way there thinking it would be a drunken night. Goon is a box of cheap Australian wine lol! Dunno why it's called goon like lol! The flat was really nice and they both had job interviews the next day so pleased that they are doing good, although gutted its not a drunken night because they both have job interviews in the morning...put the Goon away Holly! Lol! I still had a couple like! Ha! When I was there we talking about Christmas and I was saying I was a bit worried about being on my own :( Zoe mentioned there's a festival on on Bondi Beach on Xmas day and we should go there which sounds great, they also offered me a couch for Crimbo which I'm chuffed about!! So christmas is also now sorted and I'll be in Sydney to pick up the camper van that me and Sanders have booked for NY!! Everything's working out well I think :)

2 more days in Sydney for me then off to surf camp!! Can't wait :) watch this space.....!
