Hi Guys,

Just a quick one as the shop is closing in a minute, I have been trying to upload photos but have had no luck at the moment as the internet is so slow here.

I have just arrived on Isla Isabella, part of the Galapagos Islands. The journey was really long, we had to get a plane, then bus, then boat, then taxi, and then another boat to get here. We were met at each stop by sealions which was really cool.

I have met the head teacher and director of the school, and I start my programme tomorrow, the school starts at 7 in the morning till 1pm so I get my afternoons free to explore the island for a bit. I am sharing a room with two woman who I met in Quito so it was nice to have friendly faces when I arrived. The family I am staying with are really nice and the food is marginally better than quito.

Our last weekend in Quito we went to Banos for the weekend, it was really cool we did white water rafting, quad biking which was scary in the dark when it kept breaking down!! Then we saw the volcano start to erupt which was cool. The next day we tried CUY aka Guinea pig which tasted of pork and duck!
