Im gone.
After packing and planning for the last couple of months I flu in to Dehli just this morning. After a anoyly delayed and sleepless flight i arived at Dehli airport. God its hot! Not so much sunny but humid, not nice lol Was very chuffed with myself managing to get a sim card and map and taxi with out quite getting lost. I wass quite worried about the taxi from all the storys and warnings you hear but it was competely fine took me straight here for less than a tenner even tho it was about a 45imn drive with all the traffic (bloody scary journey tho, i dont think anyone was quite sure which side of the road they were ment to be on).
My hotel is lush, air con, clean (mostly-havent dared the shower quite yet) and very friendly staff. After dumping my stuff down (and yess i do admit i now regret packing so much-its heavy!) went straight to their tourest office where the nicest man has managed tohelp me out with everything, hes helped sort my trains book a long trip tomorrow (aat a great price) and organise myself compelely withiout a charge for most of it even tho i took up most his day. (oh and had some proper indian chai tea very taste but really sugary!)
I then moved on o the market, with a recomenaytion from the tourest guild, i went hunting for somewhere to eat, after getting lost for olnly a itlle bit of time i found it and although the place did western pasta and pizza dishes you guys beeter be proud of me i had a curry, even tho i awas worned they are all very hot! I am deturmeined to like hot food by the end of this trip, as 2bh i think its gonna be between that and starving, its a bit of an necessary. Also met a lovely polish couple they had lots of advice on surviving the indian markets and transport and even on your own 'spirital awareness' which was quite weird i should say the leas.i then went on to enjoy te market whih is litrally up my road, i love it!! Think i get a little carried away with the bartering and engage peop,l just to see how low i can get the prcie. lol ONly leaving when it got dark ive actually had a really great day, i never felt actually affraid or 'lost' evern tho i was lost a fair bit i always felt ok and just enjoyed the atmostphere so much, definatly my kindof place, kinda sad i cant stay longer but off to the tarj mahal, in the morning 5am (so better go to bed now as i didnt sleep last ight and tomorrow ill be on a night train).
Oh and almost forgot to say had a lush soup for dinner on the rouf of the hotel, ill take a pic and post it when i can. you can see the busy steet below (i think i am even now emune to car honking its litrally an endless noise here)
Noone better complain about my spelling and grammer in this passage, im blai ming it on this rubbish computer which only shows up the letters 10seconds after their tyed and which i genuinly thought was going to be in black and white when i first turned it on. lol
Wont be albe to blog for the next couple of weeks stuch in the middle of nowhere helping out a village.
