Woohoo holiday!! Was not impressed with the 7am wake up call but all in a good cause. Had to wake both the boys up but as soon as I mention Ibiza they bounded out of there beds. Managed to get to the airport on time despite the bloody stupid roadworks in Barrow.
Boys were great on the plane, got the usual are we there yet? Even though we hadn't even took off. The distraction's kept them occupied I.e new Umd's, new psp games, magazines each, sweets and lots of them ( only a two hour flight, think we would be bankrupt if we took them America)
Got there and found the hire car, which was great as only paid for a hydundi and we got a Nissan so Gav was happy at the non flower power after my Dublin mishap.
Managed to get to Port de San Miquel without Any detours which is a first for us and found the apartment straight away another first for us. On arrival was pretty happy as was expecting a hole as only paid a pittance but was surprisingly surprised at finding a clean, well maintained and roomy apartment (free wifi as well) and 3 kid pools one which is pretty much like a waterpark with 4 water slides so there well happy and means we can chill as water is only knee deep so no major panic's that there going to drown every ten seconds not like some places!!
The beach is only a 10 second walk and is lush( see photos ).

Had a wander around to get our bearings and dropped in to the TorreMar for our first beer of the hol and let the kids burn of some of there excitement in the splash pool. After that headed down to the beach were the kids had fun playing jumping the waves. We walked up to a beach bar were a parrot show had just finished so the boys had a look at the parrots and nearly got bit by one. Then wandered over to the shop and brought all the bits and bobs we'd need for brekkie and snacks.

That evening we headed to the hotel restaurant "Port Balansat" which is supposed to be one of the best fish restaurant's on the Island, Gav can definitly say that is true he tried a San Pedro Red Rooster fish which he described at lovely, I tried the lamb shoulder as I like to be awkward. The food was good but the service was pretty shocking so after paying ( no tip, lol) we went up to the hotel bar and had one last drink and then headed to bed for a very early night for us.
