So....
Day 7: Rained all day, so went shopping.
Day 8: Rained all day, so went to the spa and gym. We had a lovely dinner at one of my favorite local restaurants Circles, with our friend Ray and Brenda. They do amazing Parmigiana!
Day 9: Rained all day, so...didn't do very much! Mum and Dad also went back home today :(
Day 10: Rained all day, so went to the gym and started on my Harvard accounting work. (Yes, we got homework before we even start! This doesn't bode well...)
Day 11: Rained all day, so again didn't do very much! I headed out to the new bar Incognito with Ray and Brenda. It was a great night, the Rays won the baseball 15-2 (13 home runs in the first 3 innings!), a really great jazz duo was playing, and even better company! Ray was kind enough to lend me his truck....he tells me "chicks dig guys with big trucks"....not sure if worked the other way round or not, but it was so fun to drive!
Day 12: We had 20 minutes of SUN!!! So I naturally made the most of it and was sat out by the pool....that is until the roars of thunder started and we were told to leave.
Tomorrow I'm heading over to Port Canaveral to start the real adventures now
I've had some time to relax in the.....well this is usually where I would say sun, but warm rain is more accurate. The nice man on the weather channel told us this is the most rain we have had here in the month of May since the 1800s!!....grreeeeeeat. And guess where it's been coming from? The bahamas....where I'm off to tomorrow. hmmm....
