We leave Australia on the 8.45 am train from hopfgarten to Innsbruck because the train line in out we need to get all the luggage off get on a bus that goes to Brenner Italy( we crossed the border in the bus) then another train to Venice that takes another 4 hours. Travelling makes you so tired ' it's really hot in Europe the last 3 days have been between 35 & 37 degrees.... We arrive in beautiful Venice with sweat dropping off us all we cannot tell you all how hot it is, i think worse than Thailand,,,, we get a private taxi which costs us a fortune 80 euros but hey we have 12 prices of luggage combined & the taxi will take us closer to the hotel, I nearly fall in getting in the boat.. Lol....so it's money we'll spent ... It's beautiful the boys keep talking about Indiana Jones movies that were made here..... We arrive finally at the hotel asking several people for directions, it's stunning...... Avant gard.... We all have cold showers get cool clothes out & go walking . Jeni & I both start buying Venetian glass it's beautiful we can only get little things as we will struggle with one of our flights with the weight limit... We have dinner then decide to go on a Gondola ,, this is something I have always wanted to do , I'm thrilled to get the chance, both families get in 2 gondolas we have a lovely driver explaining about Venice city we are thrilled,,, excited,, gob smacked .. This is exciting...... It's hot boys are drinking beers , I find a cocktail fruit bar have 2 shots but a drink .. Yummy the boys all go back to the hotel to watch the grand final in European cup between Italy ' Spain Jeni & I stay out and shop, we go past the cocktail bar again a quick 5 shots later for me.., Jeni laughing then we order a huge daiquiri each... yummy ... It's so hot we are so thirsty... We make our way back to our air conditioned rooms watch soccer and lights out.....
