It's raining this morning in Rome so we quickly have our last breakfast at the hotel , pack our bags & head off out in the streets for a fabulous cappuccino... We have to buy another umbrella as its so wet, the guys wants 10 euro we get it for 3...... Lol.... We go back to the hotel & check out but we still have 2 hours before our transfer picks us up to take us to the train station. So both families all walk around town filling in time.
Once we are all in the car it's 1.05 pm & our train goes at 2 pm. Rome is a busy train station but as we have bought so many trains we are all really good at pushing our way through & throwing our luggage on... (we got caught in Florence train station as locals helped us get the luggage on board & they demanded money in return, that was a hairy moment & screaming match).
Once on the train it's a 1 hour trip to Naples . Our transfer is waiting for us & we set on our way to the Amalifi coast. It will take 1&1/2 hours in the car. It's raining here down south & as we get closer to the coast it's starts getting heavier, the rain is so unusual we are told ( mm some brought the rain with us) . Tony our driver shows us the viewing points but it's such a shame we can't see anything for the rain. We stop on the side of the road in Positano where tony replays we have to walk downstairs with all our luggage OMG we have so much luggage.
Julie takes us to the villa ( she is the information person about this place) she tells us where to eat, what bus to catch & so on. The view is magnificent.
We haven't had lunch so we all head back up the stairs to find a restaurant , we sit at the most magnificent place , the food ' the view AMAZING.. The night is filled with fun & laughter , the memories from that restaurant will
Last with us forever. We make our way back to the villa drinks drinks drinks & it's lights out at 12.30-1 am ... Good Night or Good Morning Positano...!!!!!
