EURO DISNEY, the day has finally arrived we are all pumped for a HUGE day , I dont think the kids even know how big the day will be, we get our train tickets & off we go but we get on the wrong train , it's going the right way but we won't get to euro Disney if we stay on this one , so we get off & wait 15 mjns for the Disney train. Al is unwell singe goes back to the apartment. We hope it makes it ok. Within 30 mins we arrive at Disney park train station you can feel the buzz & excitement already. We line up get our tickets & off we go, snapping photos as we walk along . Then you see the magical castle , its pink & beautiful ( all the little girls are in love as its so lovely to look at) whilst walking along main street looking at mickey & minnie mouse, pluto & other Disney characters everywhere it takes to you back to our childhood when every sunday night we would sit down as kids & watch the tv & hope one day that we would actually see it in life, or be in the mickey mouse club. Everyone around us so far are wearing the famous minnie mouse ears , its hilarious....
The boys want to do every ride now ( I don't think they understand how massive these 2 parks are. We head over to Discoveryland where they want to go on Space Mountain 2( it's some fast roller coaster) we line up for about 30 mins & take our seats in this coaster , buckle up & wait to be set off somewhere in the unknown. Straight away it's dark & we are twisting left right upside down , it's a real buzz ( even mark is on the ride( I'm laughing the whole way as its fully dark , then we stop the ride is over & I'm still laughing the boys LOVED IT & so did we..we then have to walk to the other side to Frontierland to go on the Indiana jones ride, which is also a heap of fun.
The park is getting busy as there are thousands of people everywhere so we decide to go over to the other park Walt Disney Studios as it closes at 7 pm . We have to wait nearly 1 hour to go
on the Rock n roller Coaster with Aerosmith playing loudly in the background , it's AWESOME & well worth the wait. We wait 1&1/2 hours to go on Crushes Coaster which is a Nemo ride ( once again worth the wait) & The Tower Of Terror ( mark sits this one out. The rides over this side of the park have been awesome . It's nearly 6 lm
So we decide to head back to the other park Disneyland Park , & have some dinner in the saloon bar where mark is thrilled to have a beer, we all eat hamburgers & chips or pork spare ribs & chips,,, yummy ...... Then it's time to eat some famous fairy floss whilst walking to the legendary MAD HATERS TEA CUPS, I've always wanted to go on this ride ever since I was a little girl, & it was so much fun just spinning around. We go on a few more rides & by this time it's 9.30 on, & the day has been MASSIVE indeed. We get some final little Souvenirs , slushies in Micky mouse containers & try to make our way out through the hoards of thousands of people as the parade is starting down main street , by the time we reach the train station it's nearly 10.30pm the kids are so tired but our Elye is sounding like his asthma is flaring up , cough cough cough cough cough the poor little thing . He goes sound asleep on my lap for the 45 mins trip home.
When we reach the Arc de Triomphe stop we walk out & up the stairs to the street level but are on the wrong side of the Arc, ( the road around the Arc is like a massive round a bout so you
Cannot cross the road as you have to walk around it) we are so tired & just want to have a hot shower & go to bed. It's very hard to orientate yourself at the Arc as it all looks the same but eventually after a short walk we are home at the apartment & heading up the old fashioned lift. Hot shower & bed... Good night Euro Disney , it's been a wonderful memorable day.....!!!!!!
