Lovely lie in until 9 this morning before we grabbed a bit of breakfast and dropped by the dive shop to rent snorkels. She took a while to fit flippers and stuff so we didn't end up getting in the water at the right time. It was getting low and there was sea urchins everywhere! We made a few people laugh in the restaurant overlooking the beach as we'd made a big deal of putting flippers on waddling down the sand then walking backwards into the waves trying not to fall over just to get up to our knees and turn round, doing the same back again! So we decided to stick to sunbathing until the tide came up a bit. The sun was burning hot but so so nice, we switched between beach and pool. A few got very pink and the Aussies were laughing at us Brits frying ourselves as soon as we could get in the sun. I was careful though and didn't burn, got a bit more colour to me now.
Our snorkel was so good, we saw lots of fishes, clams, a dory, and the star fish were soo big and colourful! Loads of them everywhere along with the sea urchins!
After a day at the beach me Alex treated ourselves to a full body massage for an hour. This was just under 20quid!! It was so good too, head massage down to feet, including a few weird things like ears and eyebrows but it was very relaxing and released some tension!
We finished the day with a lovely posh white tablecloth tea with our friends we've grown close to. I had a steak and chips dinner with red wine sauce and caramelised onions, glass of very nice wine and a pudding and all this for just under £20! Headed back to meet the others for a balcony get together but headed to bed pretty quickly.
