Israel and Palestine are always in conflict but since the killings of there young teenage boys, Israel has decided to retaliate. The Hamas is also fighting back launching missiles to Israel while Israel is launching attacks on Gaza. Sirens have been constantly going off and I've had to run for cover quite a few times now. I am not used to living in a country that is in constant state of war and terrorism in this way. On one hand some Israelis are going on with their every day lives and on the other some are staying inside to avoid any harm. The family I am staying with in Rehovot which is 30 min from Tel Aviv is so worried that they do not want me to leave Rehovot and are suggesting I leave Israel all together. Then I hear of others who are going on with their daily lives with no issues. I was planning on staying in Israel for another week and now I'm conflicted with what I should do. Can I get on a train and get myself to Tel Aviv to visit museums and the beaches and also my friend who lives there? Or do I simply stay in Rehovot and plan an early exit from Israel? I don't know. I just don't know.
