A long, long time ago...
So another adventure that Jude and I did was to go to the newest Edinburgh attraction called "Our Dynamic Earth." At first, I was pretty skeptical to go here because it looked a little cheesy. But Jude wanted to go, so I just said what the hell - let's check it out.
Turns out Jude was right about this place. It was really fun! We went into a time machine that took us back "a thousand million" years. The Beatles (of course!) were part of the warp back in time - how cool is that?!
At first we experienced the "big bang" of the universe, then we felt and saw how volcanoes erupt. Then we went to the ice age where they had a real iceberg and it was freezing cold! We thought the iceberg was going to be some fake plastic thing, but it was real ice. Next was the beginning of life starting with the first tiny organisms leading into the dinosaurs. They even had a giant brontaurus leg crashing through the ceiling. It was life size and so big you couldn't even fit your arms around it! Then we went to the Savannah and from there into a tropical rainforest. It had trees and a Komodo Dragon and snakes and monkeys where they are found in the real rainforest.
It ended with this really cool 360 degree dome presentation in 3-D about the planets called "We are Astronomers."
I was actually glad that I went to this - even though I was dragged to it!
