Woke up to a beautiful sunny day. Nicola decided we were off to the Sunday Market at 'The Rocks'. There were over 100 stalls, selling clothes of every shape and size, jewellery and many other crafts. Day 2 broke to heavy rain which dampened our enthusiasm for an early start so a late breakfast saw us take our ferry back to Circular Quay to catch another across the harbour to Taronga Zoo where we landed around midday. Another new day another new city to explore and a rainy day. Tourist Information was our first port of call, this involved our first experience on a ferry. Our apartment was a 10 minute walk from Darling Harbour and we caught the ferry to Circular Quay. Being only a short hop from Sydney we decided to take a closer look at the Big Merino sheep from last night. It is attached to a very nice gift shop specialising in wool products (not surprisingly). From the shop you can walk up inside the sheep and look through is eyes at the traffic below. Very spooky.
