Hello,
Today I had my best practice here so I figured that deserved a blog entry. I have been doing loads of hip openers as they are my major restriction in the poses. My right hip is especially tight. I have to be careful that I don't hurt my knee because of this and through this process I have learnt to really feel what is going on inside.
Today it didn't feel like a limitation it felt like a teacher. I took my time rotating my hip and moved into postures with care. I was really focused and really enjoying it.... and just when I was least expecting it there was a big change in my practice!
Today I bound on my left side in marichyasana D by myself for the first time in my life ttp://ashtangayoga.info/asana-vinyasa/primary-series/18-Marichyasana-D.html
I know it is just a posture and I shouldn't really be attached to attaining it but I was really made up, as I've worked hard for it and learnt so much on the way!
My lotus was better too and got my hands further into Garba Pindasana. Tomorrow is led class so I have to be careful not to feel rushed.
