Hi Everyone,
Sorry it has been a while since I last blogged, I guess that is testament to how settled I am here. I'm going to resist the temptation to try and summarise all that I have done as I think this will end up being rather dry.
My yoga is definately changing. It is still hard work although I seem to be less tired after practice. I'm getting lots of help with all the postures that I can't bind in, which is fab. Today I touched my fingers in Maryasana D by myself, so it is coming. Supta Kurma (the one I was stopped at last time I blogged is getting easier) Sarath helps me to bind in it eveyday. On Sunday he gave me a new pose garbha pindasana. In this posture you are in lotus and you put your hands through your legs and hands on your chin. To my surprise I can get my hands through but not enough, so I just do what I can every day. If I get this posture I probably won't get stopped again.
I'm also developing my inner focus and awareness and realizing that although I seem focused most days there are so many levels of attentiveness. I'm enjoying the mysore style of practice whereby you go through the sequence at your own pace and the teacher adjusts and helps. I think is easier to get this inner awareness like this as you can in self practice.
