Sunday 27th March
After being rudely awoken by the Israelis that were in our dorm (their so rude!) me and Joe headed out for breakfast leaving Craig with his hangover!
We found a little cafe next to the lagoon and ordered a huge pancake with fruit and choc sauce ( we should've ordered one to share as we didn't even eat half of ours!) then we headed back to the hotel to chill by the pool.
It's like we're on holiday! (I know we kind of are but this travelling is hard work!)
At 4.30 we had our sand buggy tour - it was soooo much fun! We set off in the buggy - strapped in like being on a rollercoaster! Flying across the dunes, driving to the top of them and sandboarding down! Craig managed to stand up but me and Joe laid on our front on the sandboard which was awesome as you went faster! I was flying down and seemed to stop so much further away to everyone else! Joe said my face was hilarious! After boarding down about 5 big dunes we went to watch the sunset which was beautiful, the setting with all the sandunes (i reckon its like the sahara desert!) and the sky being bright red was amazing then on the drive back we were flying over the dunes not knowing how steep the drop was on the otherside (me and Joe were in the front which was so much scarier!) We then drove back to the hotel.
The boys decided to walk up the huge sand dune behind our hotel which took them about 20 mins to climb, they said they were shattered but had a great view from the top (shame it was dark!!) it only took them about 5 mins to come back down by which time I'd bagged the shower first! There was sand everywhere!! I had pools of it in my bra! So the boys got in the pool!
Once we were ready we headed out to grab some dinner, we went back to the place me and Joe had breakfast. While we were having dinner the people on the street did a little show for us; juggling, fire throwing etc it was really good! We were all shattered so headed back to the hotel and had a peaceful night sleep as there was noone else in our dorm!
