Well this will probably be my last message on the internet to you as only 5 days now until you arrive back.
Enjoy your time chilling out in luxury - hope you manage to have a few more breakfasts in bed! Sounds amazing and can't wait to see all your photos.
We had a lovely evening last night with Maureen and Alan, it was good to catch up and see them again.
Just off into the garden as I have a couple of plants to find spots for before England's football match... I bet Mark will be watching it as well.
Well darlings will go now and really can't wait until Friday - can't quite believe I only have 5 days to go.
Keep safe
Love you xx
Sue
Hi Boo and Mark
I know I haven't left a message for a long time but as we speak nearly every week we catch up with each other then but had to send one after reading your journal of India.
Well your time in India certainly seems packed with action you have seen and experienced so much. I wonder by now if you have been on your camal safari?
As Maureen said the weather here has been pretty hot, I don't know we are never satisfied as it was great when it rained after about 4 really hot days.
As you know boys are in Germany and have managed to actually get to see a few games, James reckons they are all just about 'footballed out'. As you will probably know as Mark has been watching the tv..........England are into the next round thankfully.
I hope you are okay as I have been trying to contact you since Friday lunchtime - Dad says you are probably in the desert and the reception is bad. I will keep trying to 'phone and hope to speak soon to you darling.
Well, I'm off to do some gardening and Dad is going to start painting the walls in the bathroom.
Can't wait to see you both - keep safe.
Love you Mum and Dad xx
Not long now until you are walking through the gates at Heathrow yippee!
Mum/alan
Hi - it was great to get an update on your journal. India sounds really exciting - do you think you will return to India at some time.
We have had veryhot weather here but today it is raining - have to admit it much more pleasant. Continue to have fun - pack it all in before the end of the month. Lots of love Mum/Alan xxxxxxxxxxx
Mum And Alan
Hi - got your message and glad you have arrived OK in Dehli - we are sitting in the internet cafe in the hotel - weather has been great until today - now it is raining. We have been entertained very well by Alan's colleagues. They are taking us on a boat trip round Malta and Gozo next week - visited the support centre and Alan gave a little presentation about his conference in June. Any way enough about that - hope you are both well - not too many tummy upsets - what are your plans whilst in India? Really looking forward to seeing you both soon - couldn't get any response from your phone Mark - guess the network isn't working again - we are back home on 9.6.06 but will probably text you again before then.
lots and lots of love from mum & alan xxxxxxxxxxxx
Mum & Alan
Hiya - not heard much from you both lately but I'm sure you are doing well. Weather here is miserable. We are off to Malta on Thursday - but will access e:mail whilst we are out there. Kelsey had her christening yesterday - fidgeted about so much she nearly fell into the font - saved by the vicar!. Alan has again not been very well - hope the holiday will be good for him. Bonnie still alive and not kicking so much. Looks like she will still be around when you return. Keep safe and happy - lots of love Mum & Alan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Sue & Gary
Hi darlings
I've just spoken to you Boo and couldn't wait to see your photos. They are great , you both look so healthy and happy and the scenery looks spectacular - lucky things! I noticed you
had a couple of new items of clothing and a new bag so I guess you have been treating yourself a little bit!!
I think there will be a way for Mark to retrieve his photos once back with technology so I wouldn't worry too much but it must have been terrible when you first realised.
Hope when you read this Boo you feel much better just be careful with food etc in India.
As I said we had a good time in Turkey but definitely not as hot as where you have been, it is certainly somewhere that I would revist but a bit later in the season when the weather is a bit more stable.
Continue to have good times to add to your collection, it must be amazing to think of all the places you have seen already and still more to come.
Best go now and get the rest of suitcases unpacked......boring.........
Keep safe, chat next week and hope to hear that you are feeling much better Boo.
Love you xx
Claire
Thank you for the photos! They're lovely and you both look great, you sly old dogs!! xx
Mum & Alan
it was great to see your photos this morning. You both look so well and tanned. The rest of the office looked at them with me!! Shame about your photos Mark - is there no way you can retrieve them?
Looked at the map last night to see where you are - India is such a massive country - what are your plans next. Oh well back to work - lots of love from us all.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Kelly And Steven
Dear Mark and Hayley,
We've been looking at all your photo's and stories and can't help but see what an amazing time you must be having. We just a bit jealous to say the least!!!!
Doesn't time fly? It seems only weeks ago that we were all at the party in sunny (!) Glasgow talking about your plans to travel and planning to meet up again afterwards - it seemed so far away then!
Steven has got plans for his stag do - the date is 22nd July so Mark will be able to come along - paint balling, food, drink and 'Gatecrasher' in Sheffield seem to be what's in store!
Steven wants to let Mark know that Arsenal have got into the champions league final (don't mention Newcastle United!) - but you no doubt already know that - boys and their football!!!!
My hen do is on the 1st July but I don't think your both back in time (do you come back that day??) but Hayley is more than welcome to join in as Maureen and Claire are both coming (I think!!).
Anyway take care of yourselves and enjoy your travels - looks like you have so far!
See you both soon (scarily soon!!!! AHH wedding plans!!!!)
Love, Kelly XXXXX
Hannah
Hi!! Just wanted to say thanks for the postcard was great to hear from you!! From the other messages I take it your in India at the moment, how is it? all is well here in edinburgh, lots of exams, working at Le monde and boringness like that! I'm off to Rome in a few weeks which I am very excited about, not quite as exotic as you though! I've got a new flat sorted which I'm moving into next month, its not as scummy as the one i'm in now, so if your not too broke when you get back you'll have to come up and visit!! Take care, lots of love Hannah xxxxxx
Maureen/alan
Hi you 2 well I am back at work and am able to use the message board although we have been keeping in touch my e:mail. So your trip to Nepal has been cancelled? So this must be recent news as your e:mail mark said you were waiting to hear from Statravel. I am really sorry for you but as Sue says relieved (from a parent point of view). What do you think you will do now? Anyway better go now as I have come back to loads of work most of fit emergencies! Love from us all. Steven and Kelly had lost your website address but now have it - said they would send you a message. Thinking of you both lost of love Mum/Alan xxxxxx
Sue
Just a quick note to say that it was lovely speaking to you on Saturday Boo and good to hear that you and Mark are fine.
You certainly seem to be encountering lots of different things - are you sure the spider was a real one and not a black toy hairy one that Mark bought and wanted to prove he was 'macho' in helping to dispose of it!! Only a joke - I bet you didn't stay around too long if these were your neighbours!
I know you have said that your trek in Napal has been cancelled - I know it must be disappointing for you but I am pleased as there is still much unrest out there.
Has Mike at STA travel managed to arrange anything else for you?
You know I was mentioning Borneo - well I don't know if this will work as not sure how far away you are.......An island called Sarawak , Borneo where you can visit the Sepilok - Urangeutan sanctuary and also able to catch a boat from there to turtle island to the sancturay. Gill says that maybe because you are now in India this is probably out of the question but thought I would mention it anyway. How about visiting the Maldives or another exotic island.
What do you think of India so far?
As you know we are off to Turkey on Friday with Auntie Chris so I will text you before we go and will also try again while there (as we will probably be closer to you).
