Koh Phagnan
Mark: Woke up and went into town to do some tin-ternet. Knowing this was our last day in Phangan we planned to chill back at the beach and take advantage of what little sunshine was breaking through the clouds. As it turned out the sun stayed out for the rest of the day and we went snorkeling along a beautiful coral reef about 50m offshore. Saw all kinds of fish and put our underwater Canon D10 camera through it's paces... got some great shots and video.
Back on the beach we were just settling down to chill in a pair of hammocks when a little black puppy and its playmate - a semi-tame white bush pig - came bounding along the beach. The pig immediately started charging the local dogs on the beach with the pup in tow. Apparently the pig lives in the resort next door with the puppy and is a bit of a bully. I reckon it'd go well on a braai with some sweet chili sauce!!!
Had a relaxing dinner in the restaurant and went to bed early which seems to becoming the norm these days. Maybe I can break my habit of going to bed at around midnight over the next 3 mths!
KIM: I love the Ocean!! Saw amazing coral during our snorkel today and haven't quite mastered the use of our Canon D10 yet!
