Well its been a while and we've seen lots of beautiful places - as well as some completely mediocre places - but its a big bloody country and you've got to take the rough with the smooth! ... at least thats what i keep reminding myself!

So we left sydney two weeks ago and headed off up to coffs harbour - nothing happening what so ever - but we werent expecting much it was more about the stop gap to get us up to surfers!

Surfers was exactly what we'd imagined - thank god! very tacky and 80's high rise - but we love it - apartment was lvoely chilled at the pool went for lovely food and danced the night away - like a little holiday on our bigger holidays!

Then we moved on to brisbane which i really liked - still not completely recovered with things just starting to open back up but that was the only sign of any issues from the floods, we were shocked at how quickly they'd cleaned everything up! found the funniest irish pub - i know you're not shocked - but it was hilarious the craic was top notch!!!!!

After Brisbane we moved on to Noosa again a lovely town - seemed like the place people would have retired away from Brisbane, just a shame the weather didn't want to hold out for us to have a day on the beach like we had planned - and with that rain you couldn't do anything in it - absolutely sodden in seconds!

Rainbow Beach was next - which had no phone signal - and i think that sent Hooi over the edge a bit! coupled with the small downpour on the beach that afternoon - we had a Hooi style breakdown - so we cut short rainbow and moved on the Hervey Bay a day earlier - cracked straight on with Fraser Island - which still completely baffles me but was absolutely beautiful!

next stage is whitsundays tonight for 3 nights then wednesday we head back to sydney for a week before the melbourne fun can begin!!!!!!!
