Hola strangers! it has been a while! so loads and loads has happened since Hervey Bay, after there we went up to Airlie beach and spent 3 nights in the whitsundays, did a trip out to the great barrier reef on a pontoon and then a trip sailing around the islands - it was absolutely beautiful - the pictures are spectacular - especially us in our stinger suits (like wet suits only bright colours so we didn't get stung as it was in season for it!) we looked less tha...

Well its been a while and we've seen lots of beautiful places - as well as some completely mediocre places - but its a big bloody country and you've got to take the rough with the smooth! ... at least thats what i keep reminding myself! So we left sydney two weeks ago and headed off up to coffs harbour - nothing happening what so ever - but we werent expecting much it was more about the stop gap to get us up to surfers! So we leave Sydney tomorrow and are unsure what the situation will be with Internet at our stops up the east coast but will update as often as possible! Went to the blue mountains on Friday, the views were breathtaking even though they aren't technically blue or mountains it is a dissected plateau - oh how clever I sound! So it's mine and laura's last week in Sydney so as it coincided we (well I) decided that the Australia England odi was a day out I wanted to be a part of!!! Blog time! So Australia day was celebrated in style with the hottest in 30 years it was a very sweaty experience. Spent the day with a boozy lunch in darling harbour then back to coogee for surprisingly more drinks! Well it would have been rude not to do it like the ozzies! Since then been catching up on the tanning and planning the next stage of the trip! We leave Sydney on feb 7th and head off up the east coast for three weeks will update the travel plan asap...
