been further exploring goa and meeting some new people. one for the mention was a dutch guy called floris who was finishing his anthropology thesis on a possible connection between trance and spirituality... came to goa for 'research' for 4 months! living th life!

another fella we met came over to goa from america in 1977 so hes been here looong but still got a sharp mind nd keeps in top shape. decent pool player until he met the tidal wave of sporting geometric perfection that is dr alasdair sonnex.

since hugo and sonnex arrived its been a slippery slope toward the tramp on the beach lifestlye, but on wednesday we're going to see a huge waterfall where you can swim in the pool below and meet monkeys. im only eating one meal a day out here now you just dont need it- its all about the drinks, especially the chocolate and banana milkshake which is key.

people have been bagging some really good deals at the market. it feels real harsh haggling some people down off a few quid even though you could easily afford the original price. however, finding out you could have bought something for less than you paid for it had you kept th haggle up is annoying.

hugo's WoW coldturkey is going ok. he cleverly bought pokemon on gameboy so he is not deteriorating as fast...

been gone a week now though it only feels like a few days. living here is amazing
