Hello from a goan internet cafe, its 20p per half an hour so ill have to make it quick.. Just been down to the flea market to baroose the local produce which ranges from jewellery through scarves, clothes, wallhangings, statues, pipes and the list goes on. decorated cows double as stalls and stalls double as houses, the rooves made of palm braches. kenny and i got pestered by people wanting to clean our ears until one of them tried to inject kenny in the neck, which he didnt appreciate. the weather is 30+ through most of the day so any sort of skipping/fitness is hard hard work!
Kenny and I missed our 2nd leg of the flight so turned up in goa airport with the intention of getting a taxi to anjuna where we are staying. getting a taxi wasnt hard since we got propositioned about 10 times every few metres. even with so much choice we ended up in one with no interior/dashboard let alone a/c. good trip though - stunning scenery and only 10quid for the 60km it was.
food here is also fantastic huge variety on the menu though each shops is the same. rooftop cafes are an instant favourite with low tables and cusions overlooking teh beaches.
write again next week!
