Today we woke up in Lignano. We had a nice breakfast at where we were staying. I had a hot chocolate, an egg, a bowl of fruit and half a yoghurt. Afterwards we used some bikes from the hotel to go for a ride. I had to ride on an adult size bike the same as my Dad. Dad was very happy to be riding a bike because he has missed riding since being away from Adelaide. This town is very good for riding lots of people ride bikes. Some put their dogs in the front basket of their bike. I have a photo to show you of a pug dog in a bike basket. It is cute. We rode to the beach. It is the 1st sandy beach we have seen on our holiday. It is a very big beach with lots of sun chairs and umbrellas. Lily sat on the bike rack of Dad's bike. We rode for about 2 hours and ate lunch on the way. In the afternoon we went to a big water park with lots of water slides. We went on a wavy slide and the 4 of us raced Mum and Dad included. We also went on a slide with a mat, a slide with a dingy, and a couple of slides where you slid down a tube in the dark so fast that you were barely even touching the slide and then it spurts you out into the air and you land into the water! We also went on a jelly shaped jumping pillow that was soaked in water. You had to try to climb up with or without rope and then you got to slide and bounce down. Lily and I had a race and we weren't sure who won because water splashed in our face when we slid down so we made it a draw. The water park closed at 6 pm but I wanted to stay longer. We borrowed the bikes again at 7 pm and rode to the beachfront again. There were lots of people out in the bars and my Dad was very jealous of them. Some were drinking from jugs with long colored straws. They were having lots of fun. I had spaghetti and prawn pasta for dinner. They were the best prawns I had ever eaten.
