The Plane trip to Paris was better than the one from Melbourne to Singapore. Before the plane left I fell asleep because I was so tired. When I woke up I decided to watch a movie. I watched 'Wreck it Ralph'. I then went back to sleep. Next time I woke I had breakfast. The meals on 'Air France' were big. There was cereal, a muffin, yoghurt, croissants, fruit, juice and hot chocolate. I liked it. We landed at 6am. We organised our apartment from the airport. It got a bit tricky because we left it so late. Our apartment is in a very old building. You open two huge heavy green doors on the street. You then enter a courtyard and you walk up stairs or get in a small old lift with red carpet walls. The lift makes noises like the cable is stretching. I usually take the stairs up to the highest floor of the building where our apartment is. We look over the rooftops of the other houses around us. There are lots of little chimneys. It is a loft apartment and we are actually living in a rooftop. There are exposed beams and slanted walls with skylights that open. There are big windows that open out and a large gold mirror leaning against a wall. There are lots of lamps and old French furniture. It is very cute. In the afternoon we went for a walk down a lovely street with lots of shops that sold different types of food. Fish, fruit, chocolate, pastries, coffee and more! The French like to sit outside and eat and drink and smoke and watch people. They dress well, it is much cooler here than in Singapore.
