Heyyyyy so here goes the end of day two! Landed in Brisbane yesterday morning and was met by rosemary at the airport and waited for delphine (shes french) landed. Then we were taken to the yellow submarine hostel before having to sort out all the boring stuff. We were later joined by Mette-Maria and jasmine from Denmark and germany.
Walking around Brisbane was a Challenge, especially when we turned the wrong way out of the hostel, however its true what they say about aussies being friendly as someone immediately offered to help and eventually showed us All the way into town, that was one of many people who had to help us out that day. It made mé laugh though that when you are waiting to cross the road everyone waits and no one makes a break for it and suddenly the traffic lights change and make a funny duh duh duh noise and everyone moves at once including the cars next to you, its Odd.
So today we took the 5 hour drive up to rainbow Beach and Lone behold...its raining!!! We still Got a chance to wander down to the beach which is gorgeous then had lunch in a beach side cafe. Thats the aussie life. Now debating what to do with our weekend of relaxation before we go to the training ranch... Shall we feed the dolphins or go surfing?? What a dilema. Drinks at the hostel bar it Will have to be for now as we wait out the rain.
Byrde for now xx
