Hahaha. Firstly, how many times can you say treacherous- I felt like I was watching the gay welsh character on Little Britain.
I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ATE A DEEP-FRIED INSECT. Are you mental?! That is, just, SO rough.
I agree with Miss Penny (sorry old habits die hard)- really good description, really enjoyed reading it, have been eagerly awaiting this blog.
Hope you're ok, mum has told me about flight issues- just do what makes you happy, ok.
I love you and miss you, keep having fun

Hi Katie!! Wow!! Your mountain climb sounds amazing - I had tears in my eyes as I was reading it - very moving and a realk sense of achievement you must have - you write so well - must be that excellent teaching you had when you were 8/9!!!!! Keep safe and I am sure you will carry on enjoying all your adventures x

Smame
hey Smatie, hope you had a fantastic birthday! I love hearing about Malaysia -I loved the country very much. We'll see if the rain has held off for you though as it rained at pretty much four o'clock on the dot every day I was there but at least it's warm so you dry off in record time. It was lovely seeing you when you came home.
I am thinking of you (and your thighs) with your mountain climbing adventure - good luck to you and your legs of steel!
Mwah,
Smame x x x

Hi Katie, what a journey you had back, what with dodgy landings in the rain, more sickness and that smelly business man. Actually, a word of warning...DON'T TRUST ANYONE ! He could have tried to slip some drugs into your bag, it happens ! It was great having a chat with you when you were at home and I will be thinking of you on May 3rd, which will be when I am returning from Cornwall and as usual on Bank Holidays all the trains will be up the creek. Love AJ

Perhaps no point messaging as you won't be able to check this, but just in case you'll know that I'm thinking of you.
I have the final round of that interview on Wednesday; I would make some kind of comparison of how we'll both be climbing mountains but I wouldn't want to belittle what you're doing at all! I'll be thinking of you when you have your mountain climb x
Carly
I don't care how shoeless you are, GET YOUR PHOTOS UP PRONTO.
Amanda
Hi katie!!!
I have just been reading through some of your blogs!!! then I had to snap out of it and think about work....it sounds soooooo amazing! I dont remember if I responded to your wall post you sent me a while ago, but I thought it was cool you had thought of me while travelling through there, I would love to go to India soooo much...It sounds like you have had an amazing time, and you really are the best kind of traveller....you need a sense of humor in life!!!!!!!!!! So now I am just hanging out for your photos!!! when are you going to post them!!?? Speaking of photos, I have just returned from a quick trip home as I had my first photography exhibition in NZ...after a few wines at the gallery I informed everyone my next photographic journey will hopefully be India!!!! one day I hope!!! All is well at the guesthouse. Carlos is good too, he has just got a job back in Bogota for a company that provide medicine for people enduring aids and cancer.. we are seeing each other again in a couple of months.....so how come you are home?? I seem to have missed the part on here where you might of explained that. Hope to hear from you and that all is well!!! Amanda (Rarotonga)

Don't know if you will get this Katie, as you are on the way home. Just to say glad you are better and hope you have a good journey back to the UK, which will seem very boring after all your travels. Love xx
