Ok, so arrived in Cairns after a silly little stopover in Darwin, a waste of time in my book. Headed to the hostal but could not check in as it was too early, thought it would be an idea to have a wander so went down the beach or so I thought...... they dont have beaches in Cairns as the water is full of Jellyfish, so had to make do with the lagoon, an outdoor pool! Fell asleep in the shade, got a little sun (not to mention sunburn!) It was 36 degrees yesturday, nuts...
Met up with one of my dorm mates for a few beers and started to plan my trip down the east coast, just been to see Sweeny Todd, strage but all the same a good movie (its raining here thats why im in the cinema)
THE BEST BIT:
Booked my PADI 4 day scuba diving course, 2 days in the classroom then 4 dives on the outer great barrier reef, and also manage to get a free trip up to Cape Tribulation with Kangaroo feeding, swimming, hiking, eating, 4x4ing etc which was nice. It all starts tomorrow five days of fun, its gonna be excellent cant wait. Also looking a doing some sailing trips round the Whitsunday Islands and 4x4ing on Frazer Island,
