Up at 7 this morning to FaceTime emma (and cassie) which was lovely, however I wasn't quite ready to face the day so headed back to bed for some more shut eye!
Once I finally decided to get up (nearing half 10), we had a chat and decided today was the day to head to the rocks and walk across the Sydney bridge. Which is exactly what we did. The bridge walk was actually shorter than I expected but included some amazing views of the opera house.
On the north side of Sydney there is an old fashioned fair ground with some of the classic rides called Luna park. We decided to be big kids and ventured in to the cheesy music filled park. After a ride or two we decided a corn dog had to be tried.... That was my first and most likely last corn dog... Not a fan (even if it was smothered in ketchup)
We looked at the clock and realised we still had to pop to some shops and grab dinner for tonight... Off to the ferry terminal. We may as well of walked again to be fair as the ferry was a long wait... The free wifi there however was better than the paid hostel wifi so I managed to upload some of my photos from the last few days to Facebook.
After a rather hectic food shop we retired to the hostel and chilled in the social area... Which is where I am now. Will eventually go cook some dinner but the kitchen is sooo busy... Best wait for the rush to be over. Cooking under pressure of a waiting que for the oven isn't fun! Feels like an episode of ready steady cook or something!
Any ways tomorrow we are meeting Laura's cousin who is coming down from near brisbane, we shall also be leaving base hostel and checking into our new home for the next few days :)
