We woke up today to rain. Cold rain. Not to be deterred, however, we set up to see the monument to the victims of Communism. We walked along the street heading south out of Mala Strana, then walked along the path at the base of Petrin Hill. The monument in the rain offers a somber reflection of the strict domination the people of this wonderful country experienced. We walked on and on further into the city just seeing what there is to see. We found a coffee shop, Kava Kava Kava; and a little scone for brunch and began to head back to our room - our ride was picking us up at noon to go to Kutna Hora.
