Jo found a baby squirrel (<2 weeks old) caught in the wire in the aviary today, so we will be looking after that from tomorrow :) Took a huge elephant bone out to the vulture restaurant and loads of white backed vultures, hooded vultures, marabou stalks and 2 jackals came to fight over it. Pretty impressive.

It's 9.25 and we finally got to moholoholo about 1 hour ago. (Though we landed at 7.30am!) So first of all some flights were delayed, and we had to wait at joberg airport for others to arrive so that put us back a bit. On the plane I felt pretty ill; feverish, sick, headache, sore throat. Altogether not good. So we were waiting at joberg and i still didn't feel great. About an hour later the others arrived, we were just about to leave, I went to the toilet loo...

Biocide Monday. We have to scrub everything with powdered bleach cleaner. Crazy busy. And I had aviary too. Dela sat at breakfast while Dave (her daddy) ate. Fed her grapes, but she gets pretty stroppy when you run out. We call it grape rage. We had a proper town trip today. Had a look around the shops, then went and sat by the pool. I walked into a spiky tree. It hurt. Silly clumsy girl. Think I still have a thorn in my arm.

Today is Sunday. A pretty quiet day as we only have to do rounds then have about 6 hours free time in the middle of the day. One person was leaving today so we got to go to town. Not a lot was open as it was a Sunday but got to get some snacks from the supermarket :) On Sunday's we eat dinner I the common room. Very long night!
