Checked out of hotel in Hanoi. Weather warm about 23 but cloudy set off for Halong Bay and arrived at @ 1200 after easy 3 hour bus trip. Went straight to our boat ( opera cruise is the name ) and first impressions very posh boat shown to our room and back on top deck for welcome drink and fruit.
Well I can only say one word about Halong Bay AWESOME :))) just experienced the best 2 days of my life (apart from wedding day )
Went kayaking through the caves amazing and to the floating villages. Food and boat was brilliant. After 2 days we were taken back to Hanoi same hotel for last night as we fly back to Thailand ( 24 hours plane, bus ,ferry) tomorrow 23rd we can get overnight ferry to Koh Tao where we will be there 3-4 days for some beach and chillax time a rest from the mad hustle bustle of Hanoi :) not sure if we will have Internet as very small island so merry Xmas to you all following us :))))
