It feels like ages since my last post.

When i last left you I was in Queenstown hurling myself of very tall things.

Since then I have been down the south of the island to Dunedin, Infracagill, Te Anu, and Milford Sound, on the "Bottom Bus". The trip was good fun. Nothing extreme like I had been used to, but it was very relaxing with yet again astounding scenery, especially in Milford Sound. However the trip to milford sound didn't go as smoothly as hoped. Our bus was one of the oldest ones in the Kiwi Exp. fleet, and didn't like going up hills. Just as we approached the Homer Tunnel, which is the only road in and out of Milford Sound, our bus broke down, with an alarming amount of boiling green fluid running down the road. The bus eventually cooled down, and more water was put in to the coolant, and we eventually made it to Milford Sound, an hour late, so we missed the free buffet... :(

But still the trip was worth the effort, getting some great photos as you might have already seen.

From there we went back to Queenstown, and just chilled out for a few days, playing a couple rounds of Mini-Golf, and going up on the Gondola to the viewing platform over the town.

We left Queenstown on the 3rd of March, and I jumped off the bus in Geraldine, just before Christchurch, to first go White Water Rafting, and then go see my Uncle who emigrated out here 3-4 years ago. The rafting was great fun, and I would definately do it again sometime. We also stayed the night in their lodge, over-looking the valley in the middle of no-where, which was amazing. The next night I stayed at my Uncle's place in Temuka, just down the road. The next day I jumped back on the Kiwi Exp. bus, and headed north to Christchurch.

Theres surprisingly quite a bit to do in Christchurch, and I'm quite happy because me and a few mates are off to watch the NZ vs India ODI on Sunday. Also England A are playing NZ A on Saturday in a 4 day test match, so might pop along to that at some time. Also theres a decent surf beach nearby so I might have a look at that during my stay.

But yeah, so thats pretty much it for now.

The next time I post on here, i will be another year older, as its my birthday tomorrow (Sat 7th) :D
