Cheating again by only writing one entry for a week! Again cause most days have been the same! Arrived in mount maunganui on Saturday and went for a look around a few places for jobs. We have handed in our cv to a few places and applied online as well so waiting to see what happens with that! Apart from job hunting we've been regularly exercising as well! climbed up the mount a few times - which is freaking tiring! you think its not too bad then start and its all uphill (obviously as its up the mount) but its all steps and phew ive taken a few hissy fits half way saying im not going up anymore - but graeme has kept me going! Dad - hes used the john menzies one a few times - works every time! lol! then went swimming the other day at the big sports complex, and spent about an hour at the gym today! was funny cos emmerdale was on the tele in the gym but was from last christmas! thats how up to date it is here. so trying to get fit! we've came into tauranga a few days (which is where we are on the computers) to use the internet cafe for job searching - spent about two hours hear the other day and didnt even notice ! its the biggest kinda city just 10 mins drive from mount maunganui. we are here till tuesday, so if not heard anything by then will maybe try somewhere else. Theres not much advertised, think possibly because of the oil spill its affecting this area and although its lovely the beaches etc are getting spoiled with oil so a lot of people might not come during the summer because of that! but we will see what happens! was going to go to the fireworks tommorow night just down the road but they have been cancelled cos theres a bird rescue centre near it and with all the oil, theres loads of birds in there and they didnt think it would be fair. but hopefully there will be fireworks sumwhere!
