We did not have access to the Internet tonight but was promised she would set it up for tomorrow.
This morning we went on a tour of the hospital Sant Pau. It was under restoration so we had to wear hard hats and orange vests. It was built in 1903 during the modernist period so it is more of a work of art than a hospital. The architect wanted to create a feeling of peace and beauty to help heal the patients. It also was designed to have ventilation through out and had separate buildings with under ground tunnels to stop the spread of diseases. It was in use until 2003.
We then left Barcelona not having seen all of it's attractions to head for Carcasonne. It was a windy day and had to stay in the vehicle to eat our packed lunch instead of on the picnic site as planned. We stopped in Narbonne along the way and visited the Cathedral and Archbishop's Palace. We then continued on to Carcasonne and found our apartment which looks like it was renovated in a 17th century building. It has 15 foot ceilings and stone steps and decorative windows.
We ended the day by going for supper at a traditional French seafood restaurant. The restaurant was located in a cellar like room. The waiter did not speak English but we managed to order with Jaylene's help. We enjoyed our meal and wine.

Amanda Sounds like a crazy hospital. Do you have pictures of it? I'd like to see them.
