We started the day off by heading over to the bus stop in the centre of town, to catch a bus to Nice. Once we were there we realized that we didn't know for sure when the bus was going to come and that it would take an hour to get there, so Dad decided he would just drive there.
It was a beautiful sunny day, even though it was a little colder and windier, as we made our way down the coastline to Nice. Once we got there we realized we didn't really know what there was to see except the Russian church. So after seeing that ( which didn't take very long since we were not allowed in it) we stopped for coffee. We had planned on stopping at the tourism office to ask them what we should do but, since it is Sunday they were closed.
So we walked along the beaches, which was a bit of a challenge since they were all rock not sand beaches. Though we did find some pretty rocks that will be joining the rest of the ones in our front yard. We then got back into the car and drived up to the highest point of coastline, to the village of Eze. We were told that the gardens were beautiful there and the view of the sea was breath taking. So we started the up hill march to the gardens. We had to walk through the best part of their town. It was full of small buildings all packed tightly together and full of over hanging plants and beautiful flowers. We ended up taking a lot of photos. Unfortantly, when we got to the top, to the entrance of the gardens, we found out they were closed for the rest of the year. So the up award climb was for nothing. However, we weren't overly upset since the walk up was amazing and we really enjoyed it.
On the way back down, we discovered a very ritzy hotel that spread across most of the buildings. They had an awesome garden that was made up of connecting platos of grass and plants. But the best part was they were filled with statues of animals so it kind of looked like a zoo almost. They also had a large chess set, with each piece half the size of a person. So even though we would never be able to stay there we enjoyed looking at it and also admiring the nice cars in their parking lot.
After that, we decided to just drive through Monaco, just to see it without stopping in it. However, on our way there we ran into crazy busy traffic and decided it was not worth it. Instead we turned around and headed back to Antibes and our apartment. We then had one of the best meals we had so far on our trip at a restaurant called La Jardin. It was a wonderful way to end off a wonderful day.
( we can't put any photos up until we get home, so sorry but you will just have to wait until we get home and then we will put them all up. Also, we might not have Internet for the next few days but as soon as we do we will post our blogs. Hope all is well back home!)

Amanda I love days where absouletly nothing works out. It's funny how that doesn't always make for a bad day.
