Today is the day!

My bags are packed and I'm ready to hop on my 12 hour flight to Bangkok! I just have to make it to Heathrow, which could possibly be the hardest leg of my trip. Damn you M25.

I actually quite like airports...once you're past security. Last time I went on a flight it was to Germany, and the security guys were convinced I had explosives in my bag. No joke. Fingers crossed I don't come up against anything like that again because i'll be damned if i'm emptying my meticulously packed bag, just to prove that the 'explosives' were in fact, just a bottle of fake tan. Just say no to tango.

I'm just running around making sure everything is charged to the max. My Kindle is going to get some serious abuse today, it won't know whats hit it.

Then, it's just a case of chucking my last bits and pieces into my hand luggage (massive geeky turquoise rucksack), eating my last few bites of English food, bidding my cats farewell (NOOO) and leaving for Landan!
