GoneExploring
The clocks went forward an hour overnight as we entered Canada. Today we will just be sailing towards Vancouver and trying to fit everything back into our suitcases.
Today was turning out to be fairly uneventful until the ship was surrounded by breaching Orcas - amazing! I have given up trying to photograph them as my collection of 'ocean' photographs is now quite extensive. By the time I have pressed my finger on the button, they have completed their performance and disappeared into the deep once more. I am left with a splash, if I'm lucky, but more often than not with yet another expanse of water.
Attended towel-folding demonstration (yes, I was very bored). Now I can decorate my bathroom with amusing towel animals!
It was lovely to watch the beautiful scenery, and of course the whales as we cruised into Canada and towards Vancouver.
Spent our last evening in the Piano Bar before having another go at the suitcases.
We say our sad farewells to our lovely travelling companions Jen (who I today discover is actually Jan. I blame those Australian vowels), and young Al ( who I now know is not 30 but 55).
I hope you appreciate the planning that is going into this packing as our cases have to be ready for collection by midnight. This means making sure we have everything we need for tomorrow.

Chris Hickey Aussies should always give their full names so you can get the vowels right. Told you young Al wasn't 30. Look forward to visiting and having my towel folded into animal.
