Amanda's Adventures
Goa is fantastic! I love it.
The flight in was fun. It was a good journey don't get me wrong, but on quite an old plane which was very old and 7 hours late. Naturally things got more inteesting when we were told to use out seat cushions as floatation bags in case of emergency. No wonder the fare was sooo cheap, they didn't buy any life jackets. he he he.
We got here in one piece though and immediately noticed a difference here. The roads are quieter, the people ar lovely and we have nice accomadation which is still really cheap. In fact we are in a deluxe room (which would be a standard one back home) but it has a shower tht works (sort of) with a nice bed and a good (clean!) fridge. Its only £12 per night which is a bit steep for here but we are literallty on the beach, the people are nice the food is great (breakfast is included actually) and it feels safe here.
We had breakfast in their little cafe by the sea this morning and I had a cup of tea which was great. I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms! we are happier here and wish we could stay longer.
Spent the day on the beach, with people bringing us drinks and offering us massages and things. It was great. The sea is lovely and there is a very strong breese which makes it cololer which is good.
Think we will have a cocktail on the beach tonight. agghhh this is the life.
