Phnom Penh is not a very touristy place but it is worth a visit to learn and understand more about Cambodia. The day I visited the Killing Fields and S21 was definitely the most emotional day while in Cambodia. Just outside Siem Reap there is another place worth a visit - Silk Farm that turned out to be much more interesting than expected. Trek in a jungle is great but must remember - DEET!!! I obviously left it in the hotel... Anyway, trekking on a narrow path surrounded by the tropical forest was a great experience and I met a baby tiger! People from the local community found the tiger in the jungle and saved him.
