So we were up relatively early - Rain was forecast and we got ourselves attired in the Hiking Uniform I mentioned earlier. We decided to head to the Deeside Cafe Bistro, a very nice place next to the Corn Mill. Forgot to mention that last night as we were watching The River Dee flow by outside the Corn Mill, just as it was getting dark, a f…

So yes, as mentioned, Llangollen is a very nice place - small but action packed. Independent shops thrive and lots of very decent boozers and places to dribble gravy. Our first foray into Sin …

I loved Seville. Stayed in a lot relative affordable, one bedroom and shower cupboard. But was just up the road from the cathedral and square. I sat and people watched a lot. Great place. I was heading "over the bridge" on my return visit. Which didn't happen. Heaps to see!!!

I have an 83 year old Spanish lady, Rosa, living a few doors down from me who came to the U.K. in the 1970s, she was married to a doctor who had died many years before I had met her in 2000. I once asked her why she chose the U.K. as a home, she had a very simple answer, “Because you had food”. She explained to me that she had seen several families who lived close by loose members of their families to starvation. I guess Franco’s Spanish authoritarian industrialisation didn’t pan out too well for lots of the locals.

I see more and more doppelgängers as I get older, I put it down to a brain that is trying to distort images to make my life more interesting than it actually was. I was looking as some anniversary stuff from my old School in Hong Kong, I couldnt recognise people I spent 7 years in school with!!!. I hate it when that beer thing happens too, although these I rarely drink, I dont get the same enjoyment out of it anymore.
Hi Steve
The only thing i recall about mid levels is getting cut up whilst on my gpz1100 by the governors driver and me taking exception to it and deciding that the guards weren’t going to stop me telling the driver the error of his ways…..!!!
Good to see triumphs selling overseas…
