Thought it's about time for an update so here goes! Had a good flight on Friday and managed to find the hostel ok. Hostel is nice and is situated just west of Central Park so it's handy to get around from.

Been doing a lot of partying and lots of late nights. On Saturday did a bit of sight seeing and had a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge - weather was atrocious though with monsoon like wind and rain so the helicopter trip was postponed til Sunday. A complete reversal in the weather on Sunday - bright and sunny and not a cloud in the sky! Helicopter trip was fantastic - flew over Governor's Island and Staten Island then past Liberty, Ground Zero and onto Harlem. After that spent the afternoon walking around Central Park and the street fair on Broadway.

Plan for today is Rockefeller Centre, Wall St, Ground Zero, the Natural History Museum and Guggenheim. Also need to find another hostel - I'm only booked into my current hostel til Weds and I want to stay a bit longer in NY as there's so much to do!
