This week we started teaching at school. Phil & I are teaching a group of 35 of 8-12 year olds. So far we have taught Arts & Crafts. Its been good so far, a success.
The children sit on benches & they still use the cane, which I am quite distressed about. If the children get too excited, bad things happen, so I've tried just keeping it nice.
We have used stickers for them to draw enlarged version next to it. Today we got them to draw their favorite places, most drew their houses, some drew a church, the beach (like I did on the board :)
Then we drew a computer system on the board for them to label. That was a cool task. They repeated the names to remember them. They also had a cool little clap thing to say well done. That was really nice. :)

The building work is always hard work. But the foundation for one of the toilet blocks is finished, so we'll start the rest of the building soon.

I'm getting plaited extensions on Friday from Belinda - my new hairdresser - she's learning how to deal with white people's hair quite quickly!
