So we arrived on Koh Phangan on Sunday and we've loved it so much that we stayed for a week. After a 19 hour bus/boat trip (with a very cheesy movie!) we obviously shattered and ended up making a very poor accomodation choice that took us into the middle of nowhere in which the owner resembled Dr Evil!! The huts were VERY basic (i.e no roof on the bathroom and considering it was raining when we arrived it wasn't too much fun!). So, the mission for finding somewhere better began - Katie got into challange annika mode straight off!! After hiking down a dirt track, two taxi rides and more walking, we made it to hat rin (the busiest part) and managed to find a much better place!

Once settled we have been having a ball! the full moon party was on tuesday and was great fun! involving lots of drinking, body paints, loss of memory and watching the sun come up on the beach! Gareth (in a very drunken moment) thought he had spotted a ladyboy for the second time and attempted to find out for sure - this involved recieving a slap round the face when it turned out to be a woman!

The beach and sea are lovely however swimming is not so much fun as we keep getting stung by baby jellyfish!

Katie's realised she's not a fan of dogs as they seem to smell her fear and chase her everytime she tries to get back to our rooms!

We've eaten lots of seafood - consisting of whole crabs, shark, tiger prawns and snapper - mmm! (all for under four quid each!)

Anyway tomorrow we leave at 6am to go to Phuket on the west, involving another bus and boat combo, fun fun!
