Hello! And welcome to our first blog here in Bangkok!

Here are some vital statistics so far...........

The plane journey was relaxing for some (Gemma and Katie) who managed to sleep for 9 of the 12 hours. John and Gareth were not so lucky - a maximum of 20 minutes between them. The drama began when we got to immigration and the girls were hauled aside because they "forgot" to get a departure stamp from last year. After a very apologetic conversation with an immigration officer we were stamped and ready to go!!!!!

We have been mostly drinking Chang beer, eating thai food and watching football till 6am (some not by choice).

Here are some vital statistics to keep you up to date so far.

Travellers = 4

Number of travellers who have eaten a dead Cricket = 1

Number of travellers taken to the ping pong show = 4

Number of travellers who won't stop mentioning the ping pong show = 2

Pints consumed = well over 40.

Number of lady boys spotted and confirmed = 1

Number of people who were sick at the Grand Palace = 1

Right so that's that for now, tomorrow we are heading to the islands for the full moon party and Katie is very excited about her challenge Annikka to find somewhereto stay (while the boys drink beer).
