Hello!

So, on Thursday we arrived in beautiful but chilly New Zealand! The outfit choices for Thailand are not coming in handy and our jumpers and 'warm' clothes have appeared for the first time! We are staying in Christchurch in a nice hostel with sky tv, great kitchen and a bar which shows the Simpsons for hours at a time! The one negative is that our 10 share dorm stinks! (too many boys) We have done a bit of exploring around the city, the catherdral and local markets kept us occupied for a few hours. We are mostly just resting up (it's hard work this travelling lark) before we climb aboard the Kiwi Experience. This is a bus which will take us all around the north and south island's for the next month. It also throws in cultural stops and takes us to the best bars at night, lovely!

Our last weeks in Oz were very hectic, cramming in all the sights and free activities we could find in Sydney and Melbourne! In Melbourne we had our best day yet, possibly in life! Yes that's right, the glorious Neighbours tour and Neighbours night. I don't think we stopped smiling for the entire day and Gareth couldn't even sleep because he was so happy! So the day started with a tour around Ramsay street, which is tiny! We took photo's from every possible angle, of every house, flower, street signs etc etc. So after this we went to a theatre and met Janelle!!!!! She was lovely and we all got a piccy and signature! But this was only the tip of the iceberg.............

At around 6pm we went to the Neighbours night where we met.......wait for it........Dylan, Karl, Max, Rachel (the boys very happy about this) and Foz from Hollyoaks - (who is pepper's new boyfriend on the show)!!!!! Gemma and I both got to sit on Karl's knee which was AWESOME!!!! After all the meeting and greeting the night really got going with KK's band!!!! At this point we were very merry and singing/screaming the lyrics to all the songs!
