Today we went to the Red Fort, Delhi (built by the same guy who built the Taj Mahal) unfortunately Kate and i now feel we have done one fort too many! We visited the largest Mosque in india (where there was a bomb last week!) and then resorted to Costa Coffee, what a find! where we lazed about for the rest of the afternoon! Tonight we head to Varanasi, The Ganges!

We're on our own! we said our good byes to the tour group yesterday and followed the Lonely Planet to Vishu in the Main Bizzare in Delhi which is crazy! People, dogs, cows, rickshaws everywhere it's all go go go all day!!! Our hotel is more like a squat but at least we've got a western toilet! Spent today in Delhi and what an eye-opener! Cows walking the streets, stray dogs everywhere and so many poverty stricken people and children. We met with our group for a briefing session and then headed off in our different directions. Kate and I caught an autorickshaw (a motorized rickshaw) to connaught place to see the bazzars. However it took is 3 hours back to our hotel, 3 autorickshaws and 2 rickshaws as there are 5 Ashokas and it is not in the Indian cu...
