So the journey to Chile was slightly worrying... we didn't really know what to expect! The border crossing took five hours which was horrific...no information and being stuck on a bus with nowhere to go! not very enjoyable! And then we head into Chile and started making our way to Santiago...there was nothing that could of prepared us for what we were about to experience...as we came in we saw huuge smoke clouds in the air as there was a chemical plant that had set on fire...we had fire engines, police and ambulances speeding past us...we looked around and saw bridges collapsed and broken down buildings and then starting asking ourselves the question...WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING?! As we came more into the centre it got worse and I have never wanted to get off a bus less in all of my life!
